Project Shamta is an initiative aimed at empowering community women through awareness and education on menstrual health and hygiene. The project focuses on eduating them about basics of reproductive and menstrual health, normal vs. abnormal, identifying menstrual disorders and seeking medical help at the right time, diet and nutrition, pain management, breaking taboos and creating an open dialogue around menstruation.
Through workshops, community meetings, and interactive sessions, Project Shamta provides practical guidance on menstrual management, and encourages a supportive environment where women can share their experiences and learn together.
This initiative strives to improve the well-being and confidence of women in managing their menstrual health with dignity and knowledge.
