Hello,
I’m Dr. Sania Siddiqui, the founder of Humjoli Foundation. In 2018, I embarked on this journey with a simple yet powerful vision: to create a world where menstrual health is openly discussed, understood, and prioritized.
With nearly two decades of experience in public health, clinical practice, and social activism, I’ve dedicated my life to breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation. Menstruation isn’t just a woman’s issue—it’s a human issue. It transcends gender and deserves to be addressed with openness, empathy, and urgency.
At Humjoli, we are turning this vision into action through initiatives like Project Shamta and Project Jagruti. These programs focus on empowering rural communities and schools with the knowledge, resources, and support systems they need to manage menstrual health confidently.
Every menstruator deserves access to accurate information and clean, hygienic period products, and we are committed to making this a reality.
As a global speaker, author, and Guinness World Record holder, I have witnessed the power of conversations in transforming perceptions. Whether it’s through books, talks, or grassroots programs, my mission remains the same: to take menstruation from stigma to strength.
As someone wisely said,
‘The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.’
Let’s have the vision to see beyond the whispers and make a profound impact on how menstruation is perceived and discussed in our homes, our society, our country.
The choice is ours – yours and mine—to whisper or to speak about it, loud and proud.
I and have decided the latter. How about you?
I invite you to join this movement. Your voice matters. Let’s collaborate, share ideas, and work together to ensure that no one feels alone or ashamed because of a natural biological process.
No more whispering. Let’s take menstruation beyond whispers.
Period.
Feel free to connect with me at care@humjolifoundation.com.
Together, we can create a world where menstruation is seen not as a taboo but as a symbol of resilience and empowerment.
Warm regards,
Dr. Sania Siddiqui
